The Blog – People You’ll See In Hell is a collection of very real stories about horrific crimes and those who have committed them.

The Blogger – The blog author is a Correctional Officer. He feels that “some people will never be correctable, no matter how much therapy they go through, no matter how many apologies they offer. They are the people you would probably see in Hell.”

A Post We Luv – I can’t say that we love any post on People You’ll See in Hell. By their very nature, the posts are gruesome and disgusting. But every cloud has a silver lining, and in this case, it’s the fact that all those featured on the site are being dealt with by the justice system. That being said, I’d like to spotlight Jeremiah Raymond Berry and Jack Berry. One is already in Hell, and the other has a first class ticket.

Ten Questions with Jet Fisher of The Overdrone

1. Describe your blog in five sentences or less.
Trapped in a small town in Illinois, The OverDrone’s consciousness spreads on tendrils of pure thought to encompass the world. The return from this global purse-seine is a paltry one or two entries a day; music, oddities, drawings from The OverDrone’s own hand, tattered culture, all in third person. And plus there are contests to win drawings sometimes.

2. Link us to one post from your blog that best defines who you are.
The Day Indie Died – An episode during The OverDrone’s larval or pupal stage which hapened to coincide with a cultural moment. The OverDrone witnesses the birth of Britpop.

3. What sets you apart from other bloggers?
Third person, Geography, Physical Distance, Compound Eyes.

4. When and how did you first discover blogging?
Stumble Upon in the early part of this decade.

5. What is your biggest pet peeve related to blogging or the internet?
The OverDrone feels that the internet will create a generation of navel gazing shut-ins lacking in the skills needed to rebuild the world in the aftermath of Global Warming.

6. Name one plugin, blogging widget, or service that you can’t live without.
The OverDrone uses and loves StatCounter because of all of the wonderful ways he can look at the data, exciting stuff.

7. If you could choose anyone, living or dead, to write a guest post for your blog, who would it be and why?
Samuel Pepys Tha’ OB (Original Blogster).

8. How has blogging made you a better person?
It is awesome to see that someone from the Ukraine or Malaysia is reading something that you wrote. When The OverDrone lived in the eighties there was no such global network. Blogging has given The OverDrone hope.

9. What are your tips for becoming a better blogger?
Post daily, link often. Write even when you don’t want to.

10. Name one great blog that you read on a regular basis. What makes it unique?
Pharyngula, because of the squid links, the science and the occasional Cthulhu reference.

1. Describe your blog in five sentences or less.
The Associated Pest is a place to find news, opinion, advice, and humor. It is a conglomerate of writers offering their unique perspectives. There’s something for everyone with blogs ranging from world news to gambling advice. If you need a little culture, come get it!

2. Link us to one post from your blog that best defines who you are.
A Treatise on Election 2008

3. What sets you apart from other bloggers?
Our team of writers is spread across the country in LA, NYC, FL and more.

4. When and how did you first discover blogging?
I discovered blogging about five years ago from a friend who said they were addicted to this emerging medium.

5. What is your biggest pet peeve related to blogging or the internet?
My biggest pet peeve is some bloggers’ failure to proofread before they post.

6. Name one plugin, blogging widget, or service that you can’t live without.
I couldn’t live without Gregarious. It’s a great tool to have readers easily submit articles they have enjoyed to the popular social bookmarking sites.

7. If you could choose anyone, living or dead, to write a guest post for your blog, who would it be and why?
I would choose Ray Bradbury to be a guest blogger. He would lend an extraordinary perspective and he is obviously a great writer. I’d love to hear his take on world events and on what the future holds.

8. How has blogging made you a better person?
Blogging has made me a better person because it provides an outlet for ideas and discussion. I don’t claim to always be right or completely informed, and I think the discussions that a site’s inner community can provide are essential to learning about various topics.

9. What are your tips for becoming a better blogger?
My tip for being a better blogger would be to read as many other blogs as you can, specifically ones similar to your own. Most industries have a trade magazine, where you learn trends, new ways to do things, advancements, etc. The blogging industry’s best trade publication is the 60 million plus blogs out there. Go learn what’s going on.

10. Name one great blog that you read on a regular basis. What makes it unique?
I’m into The Road to the Horizon right now. I’m a traveler and I like travel stories. He has gone through some crazy stuff in fascinating far reaches of the world.
