I found the Snuggles Podcast sort of by accident when she uploaded one of my free blog themes. I had met Annette already, we hang out at a lot of the same wahm themed places, and we both hang out at Mom’s Morning Show on weekday mornings. But, somehow I didn’t realize that Annette had this adorable podcast for kids! How cute is that?

Welcome to the Snuggles Podcast – the podcast for little ones and the moms and dads who love to snuggle with them ….. out of a love for the bedtime story time and out of a love for babies, toddlers and preschoolers, the Snuggles Podcast was born. Each week we’ll post a great bedtime story for you and your child to snuggle up and listen to.

That is just awesome, and it makes a bedtime story really super easy for the parents and the kiddos. I love bedtime stories, but I’d much rather be read to than do the reading some days, you know?

I’m not going to bore you to death with lots of fuzzy details and boring review chatter …. go get in your jammies and listen to the Snuggles Podcast. It speaks for itself. You’ll love it, I promise.

Anyone with kids will tell that life with a toddler is anything but boring. It’s adventurous and fun and sometimes a little scary. Secret Agent Josephine shows you all of that and more on her blog. You’ll find crafty goings on, like this week’s posts about Operation Couch Cover. That’s right it’s an operation… because she’s a secret agent, get it? I love it :)

In addition to Secret Agent Jo’s wit and personality you’ll also find her illustrations. They brighten up the blogosphere and now they even brighten up learning with your toddler. You can buy Baby Bug’s flash cards in her Etsy shop! They’re gorgeous, and if you’re a follower on her blog you know how much work went into planning and creating the flash cards. A craft project gone wild and a beautiful result in the end.

Oh, yes Baby Bug, that would be her daughter a two year old bundle of cuteness and not an actual bug. You’ll find cute pictures of the little gal pretty often, and this is one toddler that knows how to ham up the camera. In addition to Baby Bug you might spy an occasional furry kitty post in the zoo or even some bird obsessing chatter.

I hope you enjoy Secret Agent Jo as much as I do. It’s been a favorite of mine for awhile now actually. Always present in my bookmarks and feed reader. Gumball the Kitten will always have a special place in my heart. I had a plan to cross stitch him on a bag, but my lazy side took over and I never finished charting him. Hmm… maybe a weekend project this spring.

I recently discovered the cutest blog called Peapod Squad. I wish I could have found out the name of the author but let it be said that she refers to herself as “Peapod Squad’s Mom”.

You might guess from the name of this blog that it is about a family of triplets and their adventures. The blog isn’t very old, perhaps about 9 months (there’s no archive so it’s difficult to tell) but she’s packed a lot in there in a short amount of time.

Her triplets, of which there are two boys (Split Pea, and Snap Pea) and a girl (Sweet Pea) – don’t you love those names – so adorable, are Peapod Squad Mom’s pride and joy…long awaited for, and much deserved. Although I understand her reasoning for not including pictures of the tikes, I privately wish I could see their cute little toddler faces. By now, they are about 3 years old from what I gleaned from the posts.

Peapod Squad Mom got pregnant via IVF after a long time of trying to conceive and was blessed with multiples – something I can’t even begin to imagine. I think that someone who can maintain sanity under those circumstances is someone of extreme patience and ingenuity.

Her blog is amazing in that she demonstrates that there is also life after triplets. I can’t imagine getting ANYthing done while having that many toddlers in my home, but she manages still to have interests and talents such as cooking, and crafting which she shares with her readers.

Her posts are funny, engaging and entertaining. I enjoy reading about her challenges, her crazy moments and hearing about the funny little things that kids say and do…in triplet. I wish Peapod Squad Mom the best…check her and her munchkins out!

I found this blog while surfing around through Entrecard one day before we went grocery shopping. Yes I do random odd surfing things while I wait for the boys to put their shoes on and find all their junk that they are taking with them. Anyhow, up comes Geek Mom Mashup on my screen … my first thought was that her header graphics were way cute! You’ll recognize the Cutline theme in 3 column split, a popular SEO friendly Wordpress theme, but Geek Mom has added afun smiling happy family characiture to the header graphic and I like that.

I can’t teach you how to monetize your blog, but I can offer you some mostly intelligent conversation, moderately geeky tech talk, very funny mom stories, with the occasional rant thrown in for flavor. I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m not sure what drew me in first but I’ve found myself visiting again and again every day since that first time I came across the site. I think that Heather (aka Geek Mom) and I have a lot in common. We’re both authors over at Squidoo and she has some very interesting lenses over there. She’s even an Award Winning Monkey Brain at Squidoo. And we both like to craft things. Heather even has a shop called Small and Simple Gifts, which I found myself browsing around in looking at all the jewelry, blankets, and oragami mobiles she has made for sale. She has some very beautiful work.

Back to the blog… see how side tracked I get! One of her recent posts, New Nintendo “Software” for Mario Fans, showed off an adorable crocheted Super Mario that she found online! Totally cute. And while Heather knows a good gadget or geeky grown up toy when she sees one, she also knows all about the territory of motherhood, including the always amazing attraction of sick vomitting children and moms and the wonderment of new words that little boys make up all by themselves. Both are things which I can definitely relate to.

Why am I still talking? Why are you still reading? You’re supposed to be over at Geek Mom Mashup checking out all the fun geek amd mom stuff that Heather has written. As the blog says, Life is a mashup of toys and gadgets, hobbies and recipes, kids and odd socks, all held together with love and duct tape. I think you will enjoy it.

How can I not love a blog that encourages kids to read more? Not just encourages them to read, but encourages them to enjoy reading and have fun with it!

Bookworm Broadcast is an extension of the home business that Lisa runs called My Very Own Mail, which is a service parents can get for their kids where they receive a personalized letter, a craft, stickers, etc… and the letter will encourage them to go read a book and have some fun. With a love of books and blogging, it was only natural that two combined for Lisa and Bookworm Broadcast was born.

Mrs. Lisa tells about books she is reading, favorite books and she even reads stories to your kids right on the blog. This is just one of the great Storytime videos you’ll find from Mrs. Lisa at Bookworm Broadcast. The book for this video was Paddington Takes a Bath. You know you love Paddington bear and his sandwiches.

It’s not all fun and baby powder, there are serious posts and reviews for grown ups too. Like the The Jewish Americans – PBS Documentary, a review of a movie documentary about the history of Jewish people in America.Back to school topics like how to make boring every day lunches a little more fun and getting through those bedtime and morning routines without losing your mind fighting with your kids.

A few more of my favorite posts from Mrs. Lisa:

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Wayside – the cartoon
Smooth bedtime routines lead to smooth morning routines

What books have you read lately?
