Bookworm Broadcast - A Blog We Luv

How can I not love a blog that encourages kids to read more? Not just encourages them to read, but encourages them to enjoy reading and have fun with it!

Bookworm Broadcast is an extension of the home business that Lisa runs called My Very Own Mail, which is a service parents can get for their kids where they receive a personalized letter, a craft, stickers, etc… and the letter will encourage them to go read a book and have some fun. With a love of books and blogging, it was only natural that two combined for Lisa and Bookworm Broadcast was born.

Mrs. Lisa tells about books she is reading, favorite books and she even reads stories to your kids right on the blog. This is just one of the great Storytime videos you’ll find from Mrs. Lisa at Bookworm Broadcast. The book for this video was Paddington Takes a Bath. You know you love Paddington bear and his sandwiches.

It’s not all fun and baby powder, there are serious posts and reviews for grown ups too. Like the The Jewish Americans - PBS Documentary, a review of a movie documentary about the history of Jewish people in America.Back to school topics like how to make boring every day lunches a little more fun and getting through those bedtime and morning routines without losing your mind fighting with your kids.

A few more of my favorite posts from Mrs. Lisa:

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Wayside - the cartoon
Smooth bedtime routines lead to smooth morning routines

What books have you read lately?
