If you’re a regular user of the Wordpress platform, there’s a good chance you’ve visited Weblog Tools Collection at least a couple times. It’s hard not to notice the constant updates when you login to your dashboard, many of which link to, you guessed it, Weblog Tools Collection. I visit the site quite often and really enjoy it, yet it only recently dawned on me that, “hey, I should review this blog!” So, here I go. To makes things a little simpler, from this point on I’ll refer to Weblog Tools Collection as Weblog Tools.

Before I get into the meat of this review, I suppose we can start with some measurables. Weblog Tools currently boasts over 9,500 RSS subscribers and an Alexa rating hovering around 10,000. Basically when it comes to sites blogging about Wordpress whom should be considered an authority, Weblog Tools is certainly one of them.

I think perhaps one of my most favorite features of Weblog Tools is their regular posts featuring newly released Wordpress themes. Being a bit of an addict when it comes to themes, Weblog Tools makes it easy for me to get my fix. Usually about every week (give or take a few days), there’s a new batch of goodies for Wordpress users to pick through, learn about and consume. Of course if plugins are more your thing, don’t worry, they’ve got that covered as well.

Once you’ve had your fill of all the latest themes and plugins there’s still plenty for readers to absorb. Whether it be security vulnerabilities in plugins or Wordpress lingo explained for newbies, Weblog Tools’ team of expert writers provide timely updates on all things Wordpress.

If what I’ve written so far hasn’t made it obvious enough already, I highly recommend Weblog Tools Collection to Wordpress enthusiasts. Whether you’re a veteran or a first time user, this is one of those “must read” blogs that deserves a spot on your list of daily reads.
