Spicy Tasty - A Blog We Luv

Shriya and Nithu are close friends with a love of Indian food. One day while exchanging recipes, the two ladies developed an idea that would allow them to share their passion with the world. In November 2007, Spicy Tasty was born.

Though the blog focuses predominantly on Indian recipes, you will find some recipes from other parts of the world there as well. There are appetizers, entrees, side dishes, and even desserts. Most recipes include a photo, so prepare to salivate.

Here are a few recipes that caught my eye.

pepper-chicken-gravy.pngPotato Fry – A very quick and simple recipe with few ingredients. Though this recipe does not include a photo, my mind has developed its own – and it looks delicious!

Potato Fritters – As you’ve probably guessed, I love potatoes. I can’t wait to try this recipe!

Pepper Chicken Gravy – See the photo to the left. Doesn’t this dish look appetizing?

Spicy Tasty is neatly organized, with a very flattering design. New recipes are added regularly, and they are easily navigable from the recipe cloud and category list on the site. You can also find lots of other recommended food sites in the blogroll.

While browsing the blogroll, you may notice a familiar, yet seemingly out of place blog there – ShanKri-la. ShanKri-la has been featured here on BlogsWeLuv in the past, and I think I speak for the entire team when I say that it is one of our favorite technology blogs. As it turns out, Shriya is the wife of ShanKri-la’s author, Karthik.

If you’d like to find a delicious new recipe to surprise a special someone with, or if you just want to be selfish and keep it all to yourself, stop by Spicy Tasty and peruse the archives. You’re sure to find something to satisfy your taste buds.
