DNXpert.com - A Blog We Luv
DNXpert.com is a fantastic resource for those interested in domaining - the business of buying, selling, developing, and monetizing Internet domain names. The site focuses on domain name topics such as news, recent sales, search and acquisition programs, parking provider reviews, management tools, marketplaces, and various domaining techniques.
The site is authored by BlogsWeLuv’s very own John Motson, an IT professional who has been involved in domaining for a number of years. He started DNXpert.com in early October 2007 as a way of sharing his experiences and educating his readers on the many aspects of domaining.
According to John, “Years ago, it was possible to imagine that an ordinary person - like you or me - could venture into the domaining world and acquire a quality domain name for the simple cost of a domain name registration fee. Today, it is widely regarded that this possibility is almost nonexistent. Admittedly, quality hand registrations are still occurring, but pure statistics tell us that the majority of quality domain names are already taken.”
John helps his readers secure quality domain names by providing daily lists of newly expired and available domain names. Though he posts many of those names on his blog, readers must sign up for his email newsletter in order to receive complete listings of the available domain names John has discovered in his daily searches.
You may be thinking that you’re not a geek and thus can’t benefit from DNXpert.com. Think again. Even the most technologically challenged can find interesting, easy to understand articles on the site. Here are a few of the posts that I enjoyed.
How to Get Your Ad on ShoeMoney for Free Within 15 Minutes??? - This is an ingenious post, but apparently it caused quite a stir, prompting Mr. ShoeMoney to remove the Entrecard widget from his site. I think it’s safe to say that John Motson will not be getting a Christmas card from ShoeMoney this year.
Top 10 Websites that Regret their Unintentionally Explicit Name – I had to check out a few of these sites just to make sure they were real – especially the church website! I’m pretty sure somebody is going to Hell for this.
The 100 Oldest .Com Domains – Think you can guess some of them?
AC/DC Finally Get their Hands on their Domain – No longer will children searching for their favorite rock band be greeted with pornography. AC/DC recently acquired acdc.com, formerly a porn site.
There are dozens of other incredible articles at DNXpert.com, so take a few moments to stop by and browse through the archives. And tell John that BlogsWeLuv sent you!

Hi Tish,
Wow, what an amazing review. Thank you so much for this. I couldn’t have described my blog better myself!
You really inspired me to work harder on my blog!
Thanks again,
John
Great review, Tish. I feel like a bit of a newbie compared to John. I only own four domains…lol.
John… you sure do know how to ruffle some feathers ! lol… Awesome review… that was pretty funny. Hey also… thanks again for the guest posts on GCDC… I still got one more of yours to go live with! :)
@Mike, nah mate, you do good! Just keep up with good domain purchases.
@Garry, lol yea I didn’t see why he had to get so upset. I see John Chow and some other big time bloggers took up Entrecard now… too late to write up a post on how to get on John Chow in 15 minutes :). BTW I look forward to my second post :)
Thanks again to Tish for a great review!
John,
Everyone has their own personalities and defenses. Shoe has worked hard to get to where he is at and so has John. They are really opposites on different sides of the chess board. Both, blogs I enjoy reading. I thought that situation was pretty funny… :)
I couldn’t agree with you more, Garry. They have both worked really hard to get to where they are right now.
However, having become blogging celebrities, they should expect a lot of folks trying to catch a ride on their bandwagon via linkbaits and the like.
It’s all part and parcel of the game I believe.
In any case, it’s all done now, we can all move on :), but it was fun for a day or two. I never realize the dude would care enough to get annoyed over it. After all it was just a silly linkbait.
