Ten Questions with Loretta of Just Not Martha

1. Describe your blog in five sentences or less.
The tag line says it all. Perfect is boring. Life is supposed to be messy, creative, and fun.

2. Link us to one post from your blog that best defines who you are.
The about page -lol- so original I am

3. What sets you apart from other bloggers?
I’m me and they are them. I think being me is more fun, but if everyone were me that would not be good.

4. When and how did you first discover blogging?
I honestly don’t remember exactly the time, way back when tripod sites and geocities were still cool!

5. What is your biggest pet peeve related to blogging or the internet?
Spam of course. I get tired of deleting it, tired of seeing it, tired of people complaining about it, just spam. Not the kind in a can, though I don’t like that kind much either.

6. Name one plugin, blogging widget, or service that you can’t live without.
I really like the Simple Tags plugin. Makes it so much easier to add those technorati tags. Before I got Simple Tags I was constantly forgetting or just not adding any tags. Tags are good.

7. If you could choose anyone, living or dead, to write a guest post for your blog,who would it be and why?
Jim Morrison. Um, because he’s Jim Morrison. The lizard king rules the world.

8. How has blogging made you a better person?
I’m much less cranky because I have people to talk to.

9. What are your tips for becoming a better blogger?
Be passionate. Write. Read. Comment.

10. Name one great blog that you read on a regular basis. What makes it unique?
Weight Woes is a blog about a weight loss and fitness struggle, a successful one at that. It inspires me and lets me know that even successfully fit people need a good kick in the pants sometimes.
