Perhaps you’ve heard of the guy who goes by the name Brown Baron. He claims to be shy, yet he seems anything but, making his rounds in the blogosphere hopping from one blog to another, leaving comments on the latest posts of his many blogging pals. I’m proud to say I’m one of them.

When not making his way around the blogosphere, the mysterious and shy Brown Baron spends an ample amount of time authoring Brown Thoughts, a blog that’s become a fixture in my feed reader and one that I read daily.

I like to think of Brown Thoughts as a technology blog with personality. So many tech blogs tend to find tech related news and spew it out in a rather robotic manner. Baron uses his great sense of humor to add more flavor to his content, which makes the whole experience a lot more fun. On top of that he also does an exceptional job of interacting with his readers when they leave comments. I believe those two things alone are two very good reasons why Baron’s blog has become such a success. Check out that feedburner chicklet. 350 RSS readers and counting. It seems every time I stop by, the number increases.

While Brown Thoughts is primarily a tech blog, Baron occasionally touches on other subjects as well. Two good examples would be a couple posts he made in an attempt to aid newbie bloggers - 6 Important Tips for New Bloggers and The 10 Commandments of Blog Commenting. His advice is definitely advice worth following.

Like those two previous articles, there have been a lot of posts on Brown Thoughts I’ve really enjoyed over the last several months, so I’ll highlight a few favorites for you. Should you decide to make the site an addition to your list of daily reads, you can expect much more of the same.

• Cubicle Freakout - Baron does a great job of always finding fun and addictive ways to waste time instead of being productive. Cubicle Freakout is definitely no exception. What a great way to vent a little frustration when you’re having a bad day.
• The Battle of Case Mods - Think you have a pretty shnazzy looking computer? Feast your eyes on these.
• Children hold the key to blogging - Blogging got ya feeling a little stressed out? Baron writes a pretty exceptional article explaining how simply observing children can teach you lessons which translate well to blogging.
