Ten Questions with Parthiban of Words of Wisdom
1. Describe your blog in five sentences or less.
My main goal in regards to my blog is to touch all aspects of life as possible. I don’t want to stick to one area or have it as a diary recording my day today events, I want different flavors to be incorporated as much as I can. My blog deals from music to movies to sex to mens health to love to poetry and my love for my country Sri Lanka!

3. What sets you apart from other bloggers?
I would say the quality and the the different flavors of posts sets me apart from other blogs. I spend about a week or more deciding on a post and figuring out how to write therefore it helps me produce quality information.
4. When and how did you first discover blogging?
I discovered my blog through a friend. I wasn’t interested in blogging at first at all! But my friends who had blogs were urging me to get one therefore I did and eventually got addicted to it.
5. What is your biggest pet peeve related to blogging or the internet?
People writing posts for the sake of writing and just attract readers by catchy titles but the content turns out to be pure nonsense.
6. Name one plugin, blogging widget, or service that you can’t live without.
Linking to other blogs or else I will not have the access to other blogs I love and enjoy!
7. If you could choose anyone, living or dead, to write a guest post for your blog, who would it be and why?
Oprah Winfrey. I simply admire that women for all she is. Such an amazing personality who has multiple dimensions to her. Her shows are inspirations to my regular posts. She doesn’t just cover a certain subject. Everyday is a new subject a different one and she has the greatest power in capturing the audience and sit through an hour. She has also been my inspiration for life and I would be privileged to have her as a guest writer on my blog.
8. How has blogging made you a better person?
I don’t know if it made me a better person or not but it helped me expand my horizons and get another perspective of the world. It also helped me meet many fantastic people with amazing personalities and their thoughts and outlook of life helped me grow as a better human being.
9. What are your tips for becoming a better blogger?
Flavor is important. Quality of content is important. Research is important. And having a bit of twist helps to attract readers back to your blog. And be your self and embrace that into your blog it helps in great way!
10. Name one great blog that you read on a regular basis. What makes it unique?
I would have to go with Indi. A guy from Sri lanka who also runs the Sri Lankan blogs sphere Kottu.org. The thing I like about Indi is the honesty and the openness he brings in his posts. As a Sri Lankan reader I can easily relate to his posts and get my mind thinking. He’s never afraid to let out his feelings especially about politics and I admire that. He writes in a very unique way and feels like talking to a friend on your patio having a good beer.
