My Name in Arabic - A blog we luv
My Name is Arabic is authored by Reem, a native Arabic speaker. She is a part-time freelance translator, translating from both French and English to Arabic. Reem started this blog so that she could share the beauty of her language with the rest of the world.
If you’d like to have your name translated, just visit My Name in Arabic and send Reem an email. Be sure to explain the pronunciation of your name. She will write your name in beautiful Arabic letters and place it in a nice frame that you can post to your blog. She will also tell you whether there is an equivalent Arabic name. Reem’s service is free of charge. She only asks that you link to her blog to help spread the word.
My Name in Arabic contains the previous name translations that Reem has done. Your name may already be there, so be sure to check it out.
Without further ado, here is my name in Arabic!

you may not know…but is that one big ol’ letter…or is that like cursive arabic writing?
I think this is probably the most unique Blog I have ever saw. I love that we can get our name in Arabic. This is just too neat!
Peace!
Melissa - It is actually calligraphy, and I think it’s more than one letter! *LOL* Very pretty, eh?
Judy - Unique indeed! You should get your name translated for your blog!
What a unique idea! I will have to check this out for sure, as I would love to see my name in Arabic!
OK Tish I did it LOL. I hope your holding up well !!!
Hugs sweets!
Judy
Hello all,
@ Tish: Thanks for writing about me. :)
@Melissa: That’s not one letter. It’s three letters, all attached: first T, then I, then ’sh’ as one letter. ;)
May you want to see how your name is written, just send me a line.
@Danielle: I already wrote Daniela/Daniala [http://mynameinarabic.blogspot.com/2007/06/daniela-daniala.html] and Daniel [http://mynameinarabic.blogspot.com/2007/07/daniel.html] on my blog. Danielle is written exactly like Daniel in Arabic.
Send me a line if you want to have your name on Word and PDF for your personal use.
Aww.. We used to have a copy of an Arabic book at home (apparently, my father stole it from his school library) but we never made good use of it, LOL.
BTW, are you going to luv my blog anytime soon? Muahahha, just kidding..
