Happy Slip - A blog we luv

If you spend any time snooping around YouTube there’s a good chance you may come across the videos by a woman named Christine, more commonly known as Happy Slip. Christine’s videos are insanely popular. As of this writing she is the #4 subscribed to director all time on YouTube with well over 60,000 subscribers, myself included.
Christine not only serves as the actress in her Happy Slip productions often portraying more than one character in the same video, but she’s also the producer, director and often the composer as well. Add Editor to her credits too, as she assembles and edits the films all on her trusty little MacBook.
So just what is it that makes Happy Slip so special? She’s funny! Christine takes her every day life experiences and wraps her unique brand of humor around them. Perhaps what I like most is that she keeps the humor clean, which means people of all ages can enjoy what she’s doing. While I’ve loved every Happy Slip video I’ve watched, one of my most favorite is the following in which Christine spoofs those oh so popular daytime dramas, more commonly known as soap operas. If you know anything about soap operas, you know the acting isn’t exactly stellar and they’re overly dramatic. Christine does a nice job of portraying those qualities in her video, which is part of a series of soap opera style productions.
