Rescue Me - A blog we luv

Rescue Me

If you’ve ever read my personal blog, you know how much I love dogs. Imagine my surprise when Johann the Dog left a comment here yesterday. A blogging dog definitely deserves a little attention, so I went to check out his digs.

Johann was rescued in 2004 from Southside Animal Shelter in Indianapolis, Indiana. He has a loving mom, two brothers, and a sister. He has been competing in agility competitions since June 2005 and has been blogging since November 2006. He makes all the other dogs feel like underachievers! And now, Johann has taken on yet another project. He has a brand new blog called Rescue Me. Through this site, he plans to help other dogs find the loving homes they deserve.

bingo.jpgRescue Me features a dog in need each day. The dogs are from various no-kill shelters and rescues from around the country. There have been four dogs showcased so far. Their profiles include photos as well as detailed information about their histories, likes and dislikes, and the types of parents they are hoping to find. You can’t help but fall in love with these pups as you read their stories. Rescue Me also proudly displays a blogroll full of breed rescue organizations that are always in need of loving homes for loving dogs.

Please take a moment to stop by Rescue Me. You just may find a special dog to share your life with. And if you know of other dogs that are in need of forever homes, leave a comment for Johann. He is so thankful to have found such a loving family that he has made it his life’s mission to help as many other dogs as possible. God bless you, Johann!

  1. Thank you so much for including us in your great blog! We are so honored and grateful; hoping that a little notice will help some pups get some great homes, just like I did.

I am my Mum’s first dog ever. She says I changed her life, oh so much for the better. We wish that on everyone!

Keep well, keep happy, keep healthy and above all keep your tummy full!

    Woofs!
