About BlogsWeLuv
BlogsWeLuv is the product of a late night brainstorming session by two bloggers with entirely too much time on their hands. We had just committed to participation in Blogathon 2007 and needed a central blogging site as well as a theme for our content. After tossing around lots of crazy ideas, we decided that we should blog about the one thing we know better than anything else – blogs! We read them. We write them. We live and breathe them. And now we will be blogging about them! We will use this site to review unique and interesting blogs that we’ve discovered on our many trips around the blogosphere.
Blogathon 2007
Blogathon is an annual event in which bloggers unite to raise money for their favorite charities. Participants blog for 24 straight hours and must post at least once every 30 minutes. In exchange, readers pledge money to the charities we have chosen to blog for. Blogathon 2007 will begin at 9 AM Eastern on July 28, 2007. Both Tish and Mike will be hanging out for the full 24 hours, drinking Red Bull, posting blog reviews, and raising awareness for our cause. We encourage you to join us.
Our Charity of Choice
BlogsWeLuv will be blogging for The Glaucoma Foundation during Blogathon 2007. The Glaucoma Foundation in a nonprofit organization committed to leading the fight against glaucoma and identifying new treatments and cures. This is a cause near and dear to our hearts, as Tish was diagnosed with glaucoma eight years ago. Stay tuned for more information on this disease in upcoming posts before and during Blogathon 2007. The Future of BlogsWeLuv
Being the geeks that we are, we will be blogging about blogs long after Blogathon 2007 has come and gone. We hope that you will visit the blogs we love, as well as suggest new ones for us to peruse.
